My Show Plates design and arrange the supply high-quality number plates and signs using the very latest laser printing techniques that ensure a great finished product every time direct and fast from Jersey. As a well established company we know the importance of good customer care and by continually improving our range we are able to give our customers what they want first time – every time.

When you use our plate designer you will be able to create your own special look using the many images and fonts currently available but remember, if you can’t see what you want, tell us. We do not charge for general design work outside what is offered on the site and you’ll be amazed at what can be created!

Terms & Conditions of Sale
The term 'Company' will mean My Showplates. The term Product shall mean any item or service supplied by the Company The term Show Plates will mean any plate supplied by the Company whether of show or legal design Show Plates is product supplied that does not conform to UK legal requirements for product that is to be used on the public highway. Plates that conform to UK legislation will be legal for road use. All product is made using the latest and best available quality materials that conform to BS Standards It is not legal to display on a road-going vehicle any product that does not conform to UK legislation and it is understood that such product is supplied for show purposes only. Our services in the supply of product begin immediately upon receipt of your order regardless of the time or date on which it was received. Receipt of the order is immediate and our production system is automated. All product save fixing kits and frames are bespoke to the customer and are of a personalised nature and accordingly we are not able to accept cancellation of orders. The usual 'cooling off' period allowed under the Sale of Goods Act will not apply therefore and this is catered for under section 13(c) of the ammended Sale of Goods Act (Distance Selling Regulations)2000. Nothing in this staement or the whole of our terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer and any goods that are not delivered or where quality is established as an issue will be replaced or refunded in full . It is understood that there may be variations in the screen portrayal of your product and that which is received due to differences in screen resolutions between computer screens and actual product supplied and that the designer screen on the website is for guidance purposes only. The product received however will be 'materially' as seen on screen Product is dispatched by Royal Mail first class recorded service and generally takes 2-3 working days to arrive. Special Delivery items are delivered on the next working day when ordered before noon. There is a protection mechanism in place for items lost or delayed in the mail system which runs in line with the protection offered by Royal Mail in as much as any item that remains undelivered after a period of 15 working days will be replaced or refunded. Product is deemed as 'delivered' if the Royal Mail are unable to deliver product due to nobody being able to receive the package and accordingly Royal Mail leave a 'while you were out' card in order to arrange collection or re-delivery. Where this is the case and the customer fails to arrange collection or delivery the package will be returned to the Company at which time the Company reserves the right to charge for re-delivery at a rate equal to the face-value postage cost. Showplates FAQ

Q	*Why do BS details appear on the plate but also disappear?*
A	As BS details are required to be shown on plates that conform to the rules governing the design of number plates, if the design chosen conforms to the rules then the BS details will be shown. If your design is non-conforming then the details will disappear automatically. However should you wish to have the BS details on your plates regardless of design you are able to add/remove them manually at the bottom of the designer-page customer interface area.

Q	*Can I use my own images on the plates you supply?*
A	Yes - When designing your plates you can select the 'sending own...' option from the left/right badges section as well as the backgrounds section. You simply need to attach them to an email to us once the order has been placed. Alternatively you can email them before placing an order and we'll be happy to make a template for you to review first.

Q	*Can I use my plates on the road legally?*
A	If you have designed the plates legally so that only Standard/Hi-Line/Carbon or 3D fonts are used, the spacing is correct, only GB Euro or Welsh badges are applied and NO slogan then YES. The BS details will also be shown on the plate in the bottom-right corner (very small). All other designs are technically not for road use and you are responsible for how they are used.

Q	*How long do my plates take to arrive?*
A	Royal Mail parcel deliveries average out at around 2-3 working days. Special Delivery is available at the checkout and this is a 'next working day by 13:00' service.
